Fun and Funky

Autumn is the season of Design in London.

Having numbed my feet and over dosed on design I bring you part 1 of a few of the fun and funky  items I found on my travels at this autumns design shows.

Make your own 3 dimensional creations with the 1. 3D Doodler Pro Pen. ( it will definitely be the perfect Christmas present for the creative minds.  The gently oozing pastic from the end of the pen allows you to model in 3D.  They have 3 different pens for children, amateur and professional modelers alike.

Beautiful and original Backgammon Board for that someone who has everything by 2. Alexandra Llewellyn Design ( These bespoke boards are quirky and different.

Is it a towel rail or a radiator? It is the “Gordon flash” drying towel warmer by 3. Eskimo design , ( a funny name for a company that makes radiators! Perhaps a bit pedestrian to have a towel rail in a fun and funky blog, but I just liked the name and the way it allows you casually hang your towel (which after all is what we all do) on the fin of the towel rail.

Piccadilly accent chair ruby and teal by 4. Kirkby Design ( in case you are missing that tube feeling…  We all know how hard wearing the underground seat fabric is – and I love the shape and style of this chair.

If you have a knotty problem snuggle up to one of these fabulous cushions in gorgeous pastel colours by 5. Design House Stockholm (

Glass Petals doorknobs gems that will definitely sparkle your doors by 6. Haute Deco ( who do a fabulous range of jewel like handles.
